The purpose of this introductory level qualification is to give students essential skills in, and knowledge of, double-entry bookkeeping. A review of the qualification requirements at this level identified the main functions of bookkeeping in a business. This qualification therefore includes content on these main functions:
- Books of original entries
- Double-entry bookkeeping
- The ability to maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions in an appropriate format using accounting record books (the ledgers)
- Introduction to financial statements (without provisions for doubtful debts and only two methods of depreciation).

WSQ Course Certificate:
Upon passing the Course Assessment and achieved minimum 75% attendance you will receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) for ACC-CRP-2002-1.1 (Financial Closing-2)
LCCI Exams Information:
The exam fee is not included in above mentioned training fee, $320 per paper, including two free revision lessons (Please note the exam is not compulsory, If you take & pass the LCCI exam(s), you will get the international LCCI certificate issued by LCCI organization – IAB. ).
The exam is scheduled by the IAB-LCCI, with around 3-5 exam sessions held each year.
Registration typically opens 2-3 months before the exam dates. Closer to the time, we will email you the registration form, payment details, and submission deadlines.

IAB Diploma conversion
Trainees can convert their Certificate into a Diploma as below. The conversion fee is $100/diploma bef GST.

- Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Finance: Level 3 Certificate in Accounting + any 2 of the following three subjects; Level 3 Certificate in Business Statistics, Level 3 Certificate in Cost and Management Accounting or Level 3 Certificate in Advance Business Calculations.
- Level 3 Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting: Level 3 Certificate in Cost and Management Accounting + any 2 of the following three subjects; Level 3 Certificate in Accounting, Level 3 Certificate in Business Statistics or Level 3 Certificate in Advance Business Calculations.
- Level 2 Diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounting: Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting + any 2 of the following 3 subjects; Level 2 Certificate in Business Calculations, Level 2 Certificate in Cost Accounting or Level 2 Certificate in Business Statistics.
